Supreme is a popular streetwear brand that was founded in New York City in 1994 by James Jebbia. The brand originally started as a small skateboard shop located on Lafayette Street in downtown Manhattan. However, it quickly gained a cult following among the skateboarding community for its unique and limited-edition merchandise, and its reputation began to grow.

Throughout the late 1990s and early 2000s, Supreme expanded its offerings beyond just skateboarding gear to include a wide range of apparel and accessories, such as t-shirts, hats, hoodies, and bags. The brand's signature box logo design, featuring the word "Supreme" in bold, white font against a red background, became an iconic symbol of the brand's identity.

Over the years, Supreme has collaborated with many high-profile brands and artists, including Nike, Louis Vuitton, The North Face, and Damien Hirst. These collaborations helped to elevate Supreme's status as a highly sought-after brand among both streetwear enthusiasts and fashion enthusiasts.

In 2017, Supreme was acquired by the VF Corporation, a large apparel conglomerate that also owns brands such as Vans, Timberland, and The North Face. Today, Supreme continues to release limited-edition drops of new merchandise every week, both in-store and online, and remains one of the most influential and popular streetwear brands in the world.
